PM Modi’s Odisha Visit Schedule Released; To Attend BJP Govt’s 2-Year Celebration in Mayurbhanj

The detailed itinerary for Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s one-day visit to Odisha on June 20 has been finalized, with extensive preparations underway in Mayurbhanj district ahead of the high-profile programme.

According to official sources, the Prime Minister will arrive at Pahadpur by helicopter at around 11:05 AM. He is scheduled to proceed to Gosani Peeth at 11:15 AM, where he will offer prayers and spend nearly an hour in the area.

PM To Attend Odisha Government’s Two-Year Celebration

Following his visit to Pahadpur, the Prime Minister will travel to Dandbose, where he is expected to reach the event venue at approximately 12:55 PM.

At Dandbose, Modi will participate in a major public programme organised to mark the completion of two years of the BJP-led government in Odisha. He is also scheduled to address a large gathering during the event.

According to the official itinerary, the programme will continue for about an hour before the Prime Minister departs for his next engagement.

Security and Administrative Preparations in Full Swing

Authorities have intensified security arrangements and logistical preparations across Mayurbhanj district to ensure the smooth conduct of the Prime Minister’s visit. Officials from various departments are coordinating with security agencies to manage crowd movement, traffic regulation and event logistics.

The visit is being viewed as politically significant as it coincides with the BJP government’s second anniversary in Odisha and comes amid preparations for upcoming local body and panchayat elections.

BJP Workers Enthused Ahead of Visit

Odisha BJP leaders have expressed enthusiasm over the Prime Minister’s upcoming visit. State BJP President Manmohan Samal had earlier said that a large public gathering is expected in the Rairangpur region and that party workers are excited about the event.

The visit also comes as the BJP highlights the achievements of both the Central Government and the state’s “double-engine government” model.

Political observers believe Modi’s address in Mayurbhanj could set the tone for the party’s future outreach and development agenda in Odisha ahead of upcoming electoral contests.
