CBSE Class XII Results 2026: Odisha Students Shines

The Central Board of Secondary Education on Wednesday declared the Class XII examination results for 2026, with an overall national pass percentage of 85.20 per cent.

Girls once again outperformed boys in the board examinations. According to CBSE data, girls recorded a pass percentage of 88.86 per cent, while boys secured 82.13 per cent. The board also reported a 100 per cent pass rate among transgender students.

Odisha Students Deliver Strong Performance

Students from Odisha registered impressive performances in the CBSE Class XII examinations, with several achievers from SAI International School securing outstanding marks.

A Humanities student from the school scored 98.6 per cent and credited the achievement to consistent support from teachers and parents.

“I secured 98.6% in Class 12 Humanities and credit my success to SAI International School and my parents for their constant support. I was confident of scoring above 95% after the exams. I scored 100 in Psychology, 99 in Political Science and English, 98 in Fine Arts, and 97 in Economics,” the student said.

Another Class XII student from the same institution secured 95 per cent marks and expressed happiness after the results were announced following weeks of anticipation.

The student also stated that preparations for NEET-UG 2026 would continue despite the examination being cancelled earlier amid allegations of paper leak.

Over 94,000 Students Score Above 90%

CBSE said that 94,028 students, representing 5.32 per cent of total candidates, scored 90 per cent and above in the examination. Meanwhile, 17,113 students secured marks above 95 per cent.

Supplementary Exams From July 15

CBSE has announced that supplementary examinations for Class XII students will commence from July 15, 2026. Detailed schedules and guidelines regarding compartment exams, verification of marks and re-evaluation are expected to be released separately by the board.
