Balasore: A young photographer from Balasore has brought pride to Odisha after earning recognition in Forbes for his outstanding photography skills. Sritam was selected among the top 12 individuals, gaining international attention for his creative work captured entirely on a mobile phone.
His photographs, primarily focusing on nature and insects, impressed judges at a prestigious event held in England. The achievement highlights the growing global acceptance of mobile photography as a powerful creative medium.
Unique Subject Earns Global Spotlight
Speaking about his work, Sritam revealed that the featured image was of a rare kidney garden spider, known for a distinctive pattern resembling a human face on its body.
“The Nikon Comedy Wildlife Awards is organised in England every year. Recently, I was notified that one of my images has been featured in Forbes magazine. It is a great success for me,” he said, expressing gratitude for the recognition.

Sritam’s work has previously been published by renowned platforms such as National Geographic and BBC. He has also been honoured at a state-level event in Bhubaneswar on Conservation Day by the Governor.
