Balasore, Odisha – July 28, 2025: India achieved a significant milestone in its defence preparedness with the successful test-firing of ‘Pralay-6’, a short-range surface-to-surface missile, from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Island off the Odisha coast at 9:35 AM on Monday. This indigenously developed missile enhances India’s tactical and battlefield strike capabilities, especially in short-range precision combat scenarios.
Developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), the missile is engineered for high accuracy and rapid deployment, making it a strategic asset in modern warfare.
