Director Aditya Dhar’s action-packed sequel Dhurandhar: The Revenge has created history at the global box office by crossing ₹1,088 crore in worldwide gross collections within its first week, making it the biggest global blockbuster in Indian cinema history.
According to figures shared by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, the Ranveer Singh-starrer spy thriller earned ₹814 crore gross in India and ₹274 crore from overseas markets during its eight-day opening week. The film’s net collection in India stood at ₹690 crore during the same period.
Fastest Indian Film to Reach ₹1,000 Crore
The makers announced that the film has broken multiple box office records, including becoming the fastest Indian movie to cross the ₹1,000 crore mark worldwide.
In an official statement, the production houses said the sequel has surpassed previous benchmarks across every day of its opening week, setting new records for:

Dhurandhar: The Revenge started its theatrical run with a phenomenal opening weekend collection of ₹761 crore globally within the first four days.
The film continued its impressive run during weekdays in India:
- Monday: ₹64 crore
- Tuesday: ₹58 crore
- Wednesday: ₹49 crore
- Thursday: ₹53 crore
Another major milestone came when the film became the first Indian movie to cross ₹100 crore in a single day in one language, earning ₹145 crore from paid previews and opening day collections in India.
