PM Modi’s Odisha Visit Schedule

According to Odisha BJP vice-president Jatin Mohanty, the Prime Minister is expected to arrive at Bhubaneswar airport aboard a special aircraft on the afternoon of October 25.

From the airport, he is expected to travel by helicopter to a temporary helipad before proceeding to the inauguration venue. Three temporary helipads have reportedly been constructed in connection with the visit.

Mohanty stated that the Prime Minister is expected to arrive in Odisha at around 4:30 PM and inaugurate the data centre at approximately 5:30 PM. He is scheduled to return to New Delhi at around 6:30 PM.

These timings have been reported by the BJP leader and should be read as the expected schedule.

Security Tightened Ahead of Prime Minister’s Visit

Security arrangements have been strengthened around the proposed event venue at Info Valley-II and along the routes connected to the Prime Minister’s programme.

Police personnel have stepped up security measures as preparations continue for the high-profile visit. Officials and other agencies are also working on infrastructure and logistical arrangements to ensure that the venue and surrounding areas are ready ahead of October 25.

Road repair and sanitation work are reportedly underway in the areas associated with the visit, according to an Odisha BJP leader.

RBI Data Centre Project Worth Around Rs 170 Crore

Welcoming the initiative, Odisha BJP vice-president Jatin Mohanty said the data centre had been constructed at an estimated cost of around Rs 170 crore.

According to Mohanty, the facility will serve as a backup to the RBI’s primary facility in Navi Mumbai. It is expected to strengthen the security and resilience of critical financial data by providing additional data infrastructure.

The establishment of the facility is being viewed as an important development for Odisha’s digital infrastructure, particularly in areas related to financial data management, enterprise computing and cybersecurity.

Focus on Digital Infrastructure and Cybersecurity

Mohanty said the project could help strengthen Odisha’s digital ecosystem and attract further technology-driven investment to the State.

“We believe this ambitious project will boost Odisha’s digital infrastructure and attract more technology-driven investment to the State. PM Modi’s focus on cyber security and data protection will also ensure that critical data remains secure within India,” Mohanty stated.

The inauguration of the Enterprise Computing and Cyber Security Training Institute alongside the data centre is also expected to draw attention to specialised computing and cybersecurity capabilities.

As digital services and financial systems increasingly depend on secure data infrastructure, facilities supporting data protection and enterprise computing have become important components of the technology ecosystem.

Odisha BJP Welcomes PM Modi’s Visit

The Odisha BJP has welcomed the Prime Minister’s proposed visit and expressed its expectation of a grand reception on October 25.

“We welcome this initiative, as the data centre, built at a cost of around Rs 170 crore, will serve as a backup to the RBI’s primary facility in Navi Mumbai and strengthen the security of critical financial data,” Mohanty said during a press conference.

He added that the party looks forward to welcoming the Prime Minister during his visit to the State.

With preparations underway at Info Valley-II in Jatni, the visit is expected to highlight developments in Odisha’s digital infrastructure and the importance of data security and cybersecurity training.
