New Delhi: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced a special 11-day Sapta Jyotirlinga Mahayatra aboard its Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tourist Train, offering devotees an opportunity to visit seven revered Jyotirlinga temples across Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Maharashtra.
The pilgrimage tour will begin from Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station on September 25, 2026, and conclude in Delhi on October 5. The comprehensive package includes train travel, hotel accommodation, vegetarian meals, sightseeing, local transfers, travel insurance and the services of IRCTC tour managers.
11-Day Pilgrimage Journey Across Seven Jyotirlingas
The Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tourist Train will take pilgrims to seven sacred Jyotirlinga shrines located across three states.
The scheduled route is:
Delhi Safdarjung → Ujjain → Mhow → Dwarka → Okha → Veraval → Khadki Junction → Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar → Nashik Road → Delhi Safdarjung
Passengers can board or deboard the train at Delhi Safdarjung, Mathura Junction, Agra Cantt, Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi and Bhopal Junction.

The journey will continue to Omkareshwar, home to the sacred Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, situated on the banks of the Narmada River.
Dwarka – Nageshwar Jyotirlinga
In Gujarat, pilgrims will visit Dwarkadhish Temple, Rukmini Devi Temple, Nageshwar Jyotirlinga and Beyt Dwarka.
Somnath – Somnath Jyotirlinga
The itinerary also covers Somnath Temple, one of India’s most prominent pilgrimage destinations. Tourists will additionally visit Somnath Beach and Bhalka Tirth.
Pune – Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga
The tour will take pilgrims to Maharashtra’s Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga Temple, located in the Sahyadri hills.
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar – Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga
Pilgrims will visit Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga Temple near Ellora. The itinerary also includes the historic Kailash Temple at Ellora, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Nashik – Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga
The final major pilgrimage destination is Nashik, where devotees will visit Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga Temple and explore the religiously significant Panchvati area.

The Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tourist Train has a total capacity of 150 passengers and offers four accommodation categories:
- Superior AC I Coupe: 30 seats
- Superior AC I Cabin: 45 seats
- Deluxe AC II Tier: 45 seats
- Comfort AC III Tier: 30 seats
The fare varies depending on the selected accommodation category and occupancy.
Sapta Jyotirlinga Package Price
According to IRCTC, the package is available at different prices based on occupancy and accommodation preferences.
The starting fare is ₹88,810 per person on triple sharing, while the highest listed fare is ₹1,34,255 per person for single occupancy in a Superior AC I Coupe.
