The horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla, starring Akshay Kumar and directed by Priyadarshan, continues its steady run at the box office, crossing the ₹75 crore milestone in India within its first week.

Strong Hold Despite Weekday Dip

According to trade estimates, the film collected ₹6.15 crore net on Wednesday, taking its total domestic earnings to ₹78.90 crore. While a slight weekday dip was expected, the film has shown remarkable consistency.

After earning ₹6.75 crore on Monday, Bhooth Bangla witnessed a jump on Tuesday with ₹8 crore, indicating sustained audience interest and positive word-of-mouth.

Impressive Opening Weekend

The film had a solid start with ₹3.75 crore from paid previews, followed by ₹12.25 crore on its opening day. It then saw significant growth over the weekend, collecting ₹19 crore on Saturday and peaking at ₹23 crore on Sunday.

Consistent Performance

Despite reduced footfall during weekdays, the film has managed to hold steady at the box office—an encouraging sign for its overall lifetime collection. Its ability to maintain momentum after the initial weekend surge highlights strong audience engagement.

What Lies Ahead

With the film nearing the ₹80 crore mark, all eyes are now on its first-week total and how it performs in the coming weekend. If the current trend continues, Bhooth Bangla is expected to enter the ₹100 crore club soon.
