President Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to visit Odisha for two days on October 27 and 28, according to information shared by MP Naba Charan Majhi.
During the proposed visit, the President is expected to travel to Rairangpur in Mayurbhanj district on October 27 and return on October 28. Her visit is expected to coincide with a major healthcare initiative being organised in the region.
A five-day mega eye-care camp has been planned in Rairangpur from October 26 to October 30, with more than 100 eye specialists from Delhi expected to participate.

According to the information shared by Majhi, the programme is intended to provide specialised ophthalmic consultation and treatment to people from Rairangpur and surrounding areas.
The initiative is expected to benefit residents who may otherwise have limited access to specialised eye-care services or need to travel outside the region for advanced consultations.
Over 100 Specialists Expected From Delhi
More than 100 eye specialists from Delhi are expected to take part in the camp.
The medical teams are expected to examine patients and provide consultations and treatment based on their requirements. The camp is designed to bring specialised eye-care services closer to people in the region.
The organisers are expected to make arrangements for patient registration, medical examinations, consultations and other services during the five-day programme.

President Murmu is scheduled to reach Rairangpur on October 27 and return on October 28.
