Bhubaneswar: A potentially serious railway accident was narrowly avoided in Odisha’s capital after two trains reportedly came face-to-face on the same track near the Jharpada bridge area on Tuesday, triggering panic among passengers and local residents.
According to preliminary reports, one train was moving from Bhubaneswar towards Mancheswar, while another was travelling in the opposite direction from Mancheswar towards Bhubaneswar. The two trains allegedly found themselves on the same route, creating fears of a possible head-on collision.
