PM Narendra Modi to Launch 19th Rozgar Mela, Over 51,000 Appointment Letters to Be Distributed

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the 19th edition of the Rozgar Mela on Saturday, distributing more than 51,000 appointment letters to newly recruited youth across various Union Ministries, departments and public sector organisations.

The Prime Minister is also scheduled to address the gathering during the nationwide event, which has become a major employment generation initiative of the Central government.

Rozgar Mela Focused on Employment Generation

The Rozgar Mela is being organised as part of the government’s broader push to accelerate recruitment and create employment opportunities for young people across the country.

Officials said the initiative reflects the commitment of the government led by Narendra Modi to prioritise employment generation and provide opportunities to youth from diverse educational and social backgrounds.

Since the launch of the programme, nearly 12 lakh recruitment letters have reportedly been distributed through 18 Rozgar Melas conducted across India.

The 19th edition of the employment drive will be organised simultaneously at 47 locations nationwide.

Recruits to Join Key Government Ministries

The newly selected candidates come from different parts of the country and will join several important Ministries and Departments under the Government of India.

These include the Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of Financial Services and Department of Higher Education, among others.

The recruitment drive aims to strengthen manpower across multiple government sectors while providing stable employment opportunities to thousands of young aspirants.

Opportunities for Youth Across Educational Backgrounds

The Rozgar Melas mainly focus on candidates between the ages of 18 and 35 years and are designed to accommodate individuals with varied educational qualifications.

Eligible candidates include those who have passed Class 8, Class 10 and Class 12 examinations, along with ITI certificate holders, diploma candidates and graduates.

The initiative also covers trained and certified candidates who meet the standards prescribed under the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF).

Awareness Campaigns Conducted Nationwide

To ensure wider participation, job seekers are being informed about the Rozgar Mela through multiple outreach channels including print advertisements, bulk SMS campaigns, social media platforms and awareness workshops organised in colleges and universities near event locations.

The large-scale recruitment initiative is expected to provide a significant boost to employment opportunities while helping thousands of young candidates secure government jobs across different sectors.
