Odisha CHSE Plus Two Result 2026 Declared; Overall Pass Percentage Rises To 85.85%

The Council of Higher Secondary Education Odisha on Wednesday announced the results of the annual Plus Two examinations for all streams, with the overall pass percentage increasing to 85.85 per cent this year.

The results were officially declared by Nityananda Gond. The state recorded an improvement of 2.4 percentage points compared to last year’s overall pass percentage of 83.45 per cent.

A total of 3,41,781 students successfully cleared the examinations across Science, Arts, Commerce and Vocational streams.

Girls Outperform Boys In All Streams

Girls once again outshone boys across all streams in the Odisha CHSE Plus Two examinations, continuing the trend of stronger performance in higher secondary education.

Science Stream Records 88.80% Pass Percentage

In the Science stream, 1,14,363 students appeared for the examination.

The overall pass percentage stood at 88.80 per cent. Among boys, the success rate was 87.41 per cent, while girls performed better with a pass percentage of 90.24 per cent.

Arts Stream Sees Strong Performance

The Arts stream registered an overall pass percentage of 84.50 per cent.

Out of 2,56,707 students who appeared for the examination, girls significantly outperformed boys. The pass percentage among girls stood at 89.45 per cent, compared to 77.97 per cent among boys.

Commerce And Vocational Results

In the Commerce stream, 24,621 students appeared for the examination and the overall pass percentage reached 88.07 per cent.

Girls recorded a pass percentage of 90.43 per cent, while boys secured 86.67 per cent.

Meanwhile, the Vocational stream recorded an overall pass percentage of 77.82 per cent. Girls once again performed better with a pass percentage of 83.43 per cent, while boys registered 71.49 per cent.
