The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Friday announced that the re-examination for NEET (UG) 2026 will be conducted on June 21, 2026, following approval from the Government of India.
Re-Examination To Be Held On June 21
In an official statement shared through its social media handle, the NTA said:
“NEET (UG) 2026 – Examination Date Announced. The National Testing Agency, with the approval of the Government of India, has scheduled the re-examination of NEET (UG) 2026 on Sunday, 21 June 2026.”
The agency, however, has not yet released detailed guidelines regarding examination centers, admit cards or reporting schedules.
Candidates Asked To Follow Official Updates
The NTA advised students and parents to rely only on official communication channels for examination-related information and avoid rumours or unverified reports circulating on social media platforms.
“Candidates and parents are requested to rely only on the official channels of NTA,” the agency stated.

The NEET-UG 2026 re-examination comes after the Centre cancelled the earlier examination following allegations related to question paper leaks and examination irregularities. The matter has also been handed over to the CBI for investigation.
