Bhooth Bangla, starring Akshay Kumar, continues its successful theatrical run as it enters the fourth week at the box office. After a powerful opening fortnight, the horror-comedy has naturally slowed down, but the film is still managing to post steady collections despite fresh competition in cinemas.
According to early trade estimates, the film earned around ₹0.47 crore on Day 22 across approximately 2,165 shows. With this, the film’s India net collection has climbed to nearly ₹150.47 crore, while the India gross stands at around ₹178.53 crore. Trade trackers had reported that by the end of Day 21, the film’s worldwide gross had already reached ₹234.93 crore.
Strong opening laid the foundation
The box office journey of Bhooth Bangla began with encouraging momentum. The film collected ₹3.75 crore in paid previews before opening to ₹12.25 crore on Day 1.
Its first weekend proved especially strong. The film earned ₹19 crore on Saturday and ₹23 crore on Sunday, reflecting positive audience reception and healthy word of mouth.
Like most releases, collections dipped on the first Monday, when the film brought in ₹6.75 crore, but weekday numbers remained stable enough for the film to wrap up Week 1 with ₹84.40 crore net in India.
Week 2 helped cross major milestones
The second weekend gave the film another push.
It collected ₹10.75 crore on Day 9 and ₹12.50 crore on Day 10, helping maintain momentum at the domestic box office.
Although weekday collections softened in the second week, Bhooth Bangla still posted a solid ₹43.75 crore net in Week 2, establishing itself as one of the stronger Hindi performers of the year.
Third week slowdown but steady hold
As expected, the third week saw a sharper slowdown.
The film added ₹21.85 crore in Week 3, with Day 21 helping it officially cross the ₹150 crore India net milestone.
That remains a significant achievement for a horror-comedy in a crowded release window, especially with newer titles entering theatres.
Heading toward ₹235 crore worldwide
Even though collections have slowed in Week 4, Bhooth Bangla continues to hold enough screens and audience interest to remain commercially relevant.
With the global gross already nearing ₹235 crore, the film has emerged as a clear box office success for Akshay Kumar.
If the current trend continues through the weekend, the film could add another modest but valuable chunk to its overall lifetime total.
