The Odisha government has indicated that the wait for board exam results is nearing its end. Nityananda Gond on Monday confirmed that the results for Class 10 and Class 12 examinations will be announced shortly, bringing relief to lakhs of students across the state.
Evaluation in Final Stage, Results Expected Within Days
Speaking about the progress, the minister stated that the evaluation of answer sheets is almost complete and has been carried out smoothly without any disruptions. He assured students and parents that the declaration process is on track and results are likely to be released within the next few days.
The Class 10 results under the Board of Secondary Education Odisha are particularly awaited, as they play a crucial role in determining students’ academic paths.
Students Advised to Stay Safe During Heatwave
Alongside the results update, the minister issued a strong advisory in view of the ongoing heatwave conditions affecting several parts of the state. Students have been urged to avoid stepping बाहर unless absolutely necessary and to take precautions against extreme temperatures.
He recommended simple safety measures such as staying hydrated, consuming curd and ORS, and using protective eyewear like sunglasses while outdoors. The advice comes as Odisha continues to experience high temperatures and uncomfortable weather conditions.
Focus on Learning During Summer Break
Encouraging students to use their time productively, the minister highlighted the importance of continuing studies during the summer break. He suggested that students can make use of online learning platforms, even though some regions may face connectivity challenges.
“Students should stay indoors, focus on their studies, and use this time for academic improvement and personal growth,” he said.

With the official announcement expected soon, anticipation is running high among students and parents alike. Schools and educational institutions are also preparing for the next academic cycle, which will begin soon after the results are declared.
