The Odisha government has officially inaugurated the much-anticipated Eco Retreat Odisha 2025-26, the State Tourism Department’s premier luxury camping event designed to offer tourists an immersive and comfortable experience in the heart of nature.
Honorable Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida, who also holds the Tourism portfolio, launched the flagship event on Saturday via virtual mode from the ‘Odisha Parab’ celebration in Bengaluru. The new season will feature premium glamping facilities at six breathtaking locations across the state.

The six select locations, each offering a unique blend of natural beauty and comfort, are:

Bhitarkanika (Kendrapara): Offers glamping inside the Bhitarkanika National Park, allowing visitors to stay on Pentha beach and enjoy boating along mangrove creeks to spot amazing wildlife.

Satkosia (Angul): Situated at the meeting point of the Eastern Ghats and the Deccan Peninsula. Tourists can marvel at the gorgeous views of the Satkosia gorge (a Ramsar site), spot exotic wildlife in the Satkosia Tiger Reserve, and go for boating on the Mahanadi river.

Hirakud (Sambalpur): Located bayside overlooking the Hirakud dam, the longest earthen dam in the world. It provides a distinctive mix of comfort, tranquility, and adventure activities.

Daringbadi (Kandhamal): Located 3,000 ft above sea level, the retreat offers a luxurious camp overlooking lush green valleys, dense pine forests, waterfalls, and coffee gardens.
