Mumbai: Yami Gautam is set to headline the upcoming Indian fantasy family entertainer Nayyi Navelli, with the much-awaited trailer of the film unveiled recently.
The trailer introduces Yami as Mohini, a seemingly perfect bride who arrives at a chaotic household in Meerut. She quickly wins over the family with her charm and culinary skills, but beneath her pleasant appearance lies a mysterious secret.
As the story unfolds, everyday family chaos blends with dark humour, supernatural elements and Indian folklore. The film introduces the mysterious world of Raavan Raj, with Yami portraying a never-before-seen character — a daayan.
A voiceover by Yami hints at the supernatural backstory, referring to a demon from the Treta Yuga who went to great lengths to obtain his powers. The trailer suggests that the arrival of Mohini could unleash chaos in Raavan Raj.

The makers had earlier released the teaser of the film, giving audiences their first glimpse of its horror-comedy setting.
The teaser begins inside an ordinary household before one of the family members accuses the newly arrived bride of being a witch.
Yami’s character then responds with an eerie yet humorous line, claiming that being called merely a witch is an understatement and joking about consuming supernatural creatures for breakfast.
The teaser established the film’s blend of horror, comedy and fantasy, while also showcasing Yami Gautam in a striking new avatar.
