Bhubaneswar’s 6-Year-Old Anvi Agrawal Makes History With Two Guinness World Records

At just six years old, Bhubaneswar’s Anvi Vishesh Agrawal has already achieved what many can only dream of. The young creative has earned two Guinness World Records, establishing herself as a remarkable young achiever through her writing and public speaking.

Anvi first entered the Guinness World Records for becoming the youngest female person to publish a bilingual book. She later added another record by becoming the youngest female person to deliver a TEDx talk.

From Big Emotions To A Bilingual Book

Anvi’s journey into the record books began when she was only four years old. At 4 years and 254 days, she published Little Girl, Big Emotions, a bilingual book written in English and Spanish.

The book was inspired by her own experiences of dealing with overwhelming emotions. Anvi described those intense feelings as being like a “volcano” that could erupt, prompting her to explore ways of understanding and expressing emotions.

Rather than keeping those feelings inside, she transformed them into a creative story and illustrated the book herself. Her message was simple: children should be encouraged to recognise their emotions and communicate them openly.

“Emotions are okay. We just need to talk about them,” Anvi said.

The book quickly attracted attention. According to Guinness World Records, more than 1,167 copies were sold during its first week, followed by book-signing events at bookstores in India.

Youngest Female TEDx Speaker

Anvi’s creativity soon took her from books to the stage.

At just 5 years and 96 days, she delivered a four-minute TEDx talk in Faridabad, Haryana, titled Creativity is a Superpower. Her performance earned her a second Guinness World Records title as the youngest female TEDx speaker.

The subject of her talk reflected an important part of her own journey. Creativity has remained central to Anvi’s childhood, with writing, painting, illustration and public speaking becoming different ways for her to express ideas.

A Passion For Art From An Early Age

Anvi’s achievements did not begin with her Guinness records. She had reportedly been exploring art from a very young age and had created more than 72 paintings by the time she was two.

Her artwork has subsequently been displayed at exhibitions in Mumbai, Gurugram and Dubai, giving the young artist an opportunity to showcase her creativity beyond India.

Her interests also extend to environmental awareness. In 2021, she launched the Anvi Happiness Foundation, an initiative focused on sustainable living and eco-friendly celebrations. Her artwork has also been showcased at Dubai World Art.

Anvi Featured In Guinness World Records 2027

Anvi recently travelled to London and visited the headquarters of Guinness World Records, where she received a preview of the 2027 edition.

She has been featured in the book as a Young Achiever, with a dedicated page highlighting her accomplishments.

Her story stands out not simply because of the records she has achieved, but because of how those achievements developed from her everyday interests. What began as a young child trying to understand her emotions eventually became a published book, a TEDx appearance and two world records.

For Anvi, however, the achievement seems much simpler than the numbers suggest.

“It feels like eating 2 ice creams at once, amazing and sweet,” she said.
