Dhurandhar 2 Box Office Day 5: Ranveer Singh Starrer Slows on Monday, Eyes ₹500 Cr Milestone

After a historic opening weekend, Dhurandhar 2 (Dhurandhar: The Revenge), directed by Aditya Dhar, finally witnessed a slowdown on Monday. However, the film continues to dominate the box office and is on track to achieve yet another major milestone.

Monday Dip After Record Weekend

The film had an extraordinary opening weekend, collecting ₹454 crore net in India, including ₹43 crore from paid previews and three consecutive ₹100+ crore days—a first in Hindi cinema.

By Monday 3 PM, the film added another ₹17 crore net, taking its total domestic collection to ₹471 crore.

While occupancy dropped to around 30% in morning shows, compared to nearly 80% over the weekend, it still reflects strong weekday performance. Evening and night shows are expected to boost the numbers further.

₹500 Crore Mark Within Reach

With its current pace, Dhurandhar 2 is expected to cross ₹500 crore net within five days, potentially becoming the fastest Indian film to reach this milestone, surpassing records held by Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and Pushpa 2.

The film is also nearing the Hindi record of ₹511 crore set by Baahubali 2.

Surpasses Major Blockbusters

The film has already outperformed several big hits:

  • KGF Chapter 2 (Hindi) – ₹434 crore
  • 2.0 – ₹404 crore

Next Targets: ₹550 Cr Club

With momentum still strong, the film is now targeting bigger milestones, aiming to surpass:

  • Gadar 2 – ₹525 crore
  • Pathaan – ₹543 crore
  • Animal – ₹556 crore

Blockbuster Run Continues

Despite the expected weekday dip, Dhurandhar 2 remains one of the fastest and biggest box office performers in Indian cinema history, with its record-breaking spree far from over.
