The Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority (IEPFA), under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (India), will organise a ‘Niveshak Shivir’ (Investor Camp) in Bhubaneswar on March 27, 2026, in collaboration with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
The investor outreach programme will be held from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Event Square, located near Hotel Swosti Premium in the Jaydev Vihar area.
Assistance For Unclaimed Dividends And Shares
Officials said the camp aims to provide direct assistance to investors facing issues related to unclaimed dividends and shares, while also offering a platform to address investor grievances.
The initiative will function as a single-window support system, allowing investors to interact directly with officials and financial intermediaries to resolve their concerns efficiently.
During the event, investors will be able to receive guidance on recovering dividends and shares that have remained unclaimed for several years. Authorities will also provide assistance with pending claims related to the IEPFA.
On-Spot Services For Investors
The camp will offer several on-the-spot services to make the process easier for investors, including:
-
KYC updates
-
Nomination services
-
Guidance for reclaiming unclaimed shares and dividends
-
Support for resolving pending investor claims
To facilitate quick grievance redressal, dedicated help desks will be set up at the venue where representatives from companies and Registrars and Transfer Agents (RTAs) will interact directly with investors.
Companies with a large number of unclaimed dividend accounts are expected to participate in the programme and provide immediate clarification to investors.
Part Of Nationwide Investor Outreach
The Bhubaneswar event is part of IEPFA’s nationwide investor awareness and outreach initiative, aimed at improving financial literacy and making the process of reclaiming unclaimed investments more transparent and accessible.
Through such programmes, IEPFA continues to strengthen investor protection, financial awareness, and grievance redressal mechanisms across the country.
