The excitement surrounding Ram Charan’s much-awaited film Peddi is reaching new heights as advance bookings witness a phenomenal response across major markets. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film has already generated impressive pre-release business, even before ticket sales begin in Telangana.
According to trade analyst Ramesh Bala, Peddi has collected nearly ₹10 crore in advance bookings from Andhra Pradesh alone, while Bengaluru has contributed around ₹1.5 crore, signaling massive audience anticipation.
Bala believes the strong booking momentum could help the film achieve a ₹100 crore India gross on its opening day, including premieres, while the worldwide opening may touch ₹125 crore if overseas bookings continue at the current pace.
He further stated that paid premiere shows are receiving an excellent response, with ₹15–20 crore expected from premiere screenings alone.
The advance booking trend has been particularly strong for the Telugu version, while bookings for the Hindi version have only recently commenced.
Despite facing competition from “Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai”, releasing a day later, industry experts feel both films target different audience segments. While Peddi is positioned as a pan-India action-sports drama, the competing film caters to family entertainment audiences.
With record-breaking advance bookings and strong pre-release buzz, Peddi is shaping up to be one of the biggest theatrical events of 2026, with fans eagerly awaiting its grand release on June 4.
