Global electronics giant Samsung has announced early deliveries of its latest flagship smartphone lineup, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Series, for customers who pre-booked the devices in India. The premium smartphone range includes three models — Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy S26+, and Samsung Galaxy S26 — bringing several new artificial intelligence-driven features and enhanced display technologies to the market.
The new series introduces what the company claims to be the world’s first built-in Privacy Display for smartphones, designed to protect sensitive information by limiting screen visibility from side angles. The devices also feature advanced agentic AI capabilities, enabling the phone to quietly manage routine tasks in the background, allowing users to focus on more important activities.
Powered by Advanced Snapdragon Platform
The flagship Galaxy S26 Ultra is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, delivering significant improvements in CPU, GPU and NPU performance. Despite the powerful hardware, the smartphone maintains a slim design with a thickness of just 7.9mm.
The device also features Super-Fast Charging 3.0, which allows the battery to reach up to 75 percent charge in approximately 30 minutes, offering improved convenience for users who rely heavily on their smartphones throughout the day.
Enhanced Camera and Night Photography
Samsung has introduced major camera upgrades in the Galaxy S26 Ultra, focusing on better performance in low-light environments. The device features wider apertures that improve night photography and enhance image clarity in dim lighting conditions.
The smartphone also introduces an improved Nightography Video mode, enabling users to capture vibrant and detailed videos even in low light. In addition, the upgraded Super Steady technology ensures smoother video recording with stable framing.
Camera enhancements also extend to the front-facing camera. Thanks to improvements in the AI-based image signal processor (ISP), selfies now offer more natural skin tones and sharper details, especially when captured in mixed lighting environments.
Notably, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is the first Galaxy smartphone to support the Advanced Professional Video (APV) standard, which allows efficient compression while maintaining high-quality video recording.
Smarter AI Tools and Enhanced Security
The Galaxy S26 series also introduces upgraded AI-powered editing tools, along with new real-time features such as Now Brief and an enhanced version of Circle to Search.
The devices provide deeper integration with several AI assistants, including Bixby, Google Gemini, and Perplexity AI, enabling users to perform tasks more efficiently using voice and intelligent suggestions.
Security remains a major focus in the new lineup. Samsung has included features such as Private Album for protecting personal content and Samsung Knox Matrix protection for enhanced device security. The company has also committed to providing seven generations of operating system upgrades and seven years of security updates, ensuring long-term software support.
Price and Availability in India
The Galaxy S26 series is currently available for pre-order across major online platforms and retail stores in India until March 10, 2026.
Pricing for the devices starts with the base Galaxy S26 model at ₹87,999, while the Galaxy S26+ is priced from ₹1,19,999. The premium Galaxy S26 Ultra starts at ₹1,39,999.
All three smartphones share a unified design language and will be available in four colour options — Cobalt Violet, White, Black and Sky Blue.
With its latest flagship lineup, Samsung aims to strengthen its position in the premium smartphone segment by combining cutting-edge AI capabilities, advanced camera technology, enhanced privacy features and long-term software support.
