Ahead of the theatrical release, Bhardwaj shared a deeply reflective note describing the emotional and thematic core of the film. He explained that the project allowed him to explore the coexistence of love and violence within human nature. He described the story as an artistic expression shaped by anger, compassion, poetry, and revenge, calling it one of his most emotionally charged creations.

The director also highlighted how the film channels his response to social injustice and inner conflict, presenting the story as both mainstream and artistic in tone.

The film is produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and is adapted from the crime non-fiction book Mafia Queens of Mumbai by Hussain Zaidi. The music for the film has also been composed by Bhardwaj himself, adding to its distinctive creative signature.

Alongside the lead pair, the supporting cast includes veteran and popular actors such as Nana Patekar, Avinash Tiwary, Tamannaah Bhatia, Disha Patani, Farida Jalal and Vikrant Massey, contributing to the film’s wide appeal.
