For the past 28 years, the villagers have been complaining a lot about the electricity connection to the village. Finally, the Mohan Government took their problems seriously. The Chief Minister expressed concern about the problems of Subarnapur village and directed the District Collector to provide electricity to the village immediately. In addition, the District Collector should take immediate steps to solve the problem by giving priority to this, Chief Minister Sri Mohan Charan Majhi issued instructions in a joint conference of the District Collector, District Collector and Security Officer held in Bhubaneswar. Later, many officials of the administrative apparatus reached the village, assessed the situation and prepared a report to solve the problem. After this, the Electricity Department started working on a war footing and provided electricity to the village within 10 days. And after the electricity came, there was a wave of happiness in the local area.
According to report, 30 students of this village are going to study at the nearby Singipur village school. But for years, the villagers were deprived of electricity service. In the evening, when every house used to burn candles, but there was no kerosene, candlelight became their hope. Especially the students were facing more problems. Even as the village became dark as soon as evening fell, there was a fear of wild animals. Therefore, the villagers had repeatedly drawn the attention of the administration to electrify the village. But no step was taken. Earlier, when the BJD government was in power, they had made many complaints. But nothing was resolved. Finally, Chief Minister Sri Mohan Charan Majhi has alleviated the suffering of the villagers.
